Dangerous Goods Policy

It is the Box Operator (NVOCC/MAIN LINES) responsibility to complete the Dangerous Goods Declaration form, on which they must include the following details as Mandatory:

  • The UN Number.
  • Proper Shipping name of the dangerous goods & class.
  • Net weight of the dangerous goods and the total shipment weight.
  • Inner and Outer packing details.
  • Full address and contact details of the shipper and consignee in case of emergencies.
  • MSDS copy with all DG request.
  • If tanks, then valid class approved tank certificates.
  • Packaging Certificate for IMCO Class 5 and 6 cargo to check for Special exclusive acceptance to load if Internal compliance met.
  • Related documents for safe carriage.

Dangerous goods documentation that has been incorrectly or falsely completed or mis declared can lead to substantial fines. Class 1 & 7 strictly prohibited for carriage.
